Freeze Dried Stuffed Pepper Soup

My wife got me this meal while at the Pennsylvania Farm Show in January. It was a real struggle not to just prepare it at home but I was determined to wait until I went camping. I was finally able to hit the trail the last weekend in April and this was in my food bag.

I was a little skeptical when I opened the pouch. It didn't look like any freeze dried meal I'd ever prepared. It did smell good, though. Even in it's dehydrated form.

I must say every bite was worth the 15 minute wait to prepare it. It was delicious !! It tasted EXACTLY like the stuffed peppers my mother used to make when I was a teenager. A little black pepper from my portable salt and pepper shaker in my food bag really kicked it up a notch.

I have a beef stroganoff in my stash that my wife bought the same day. It's been the same struggle not to just dig into it and eat it here at home. I'm gonna wait, though. Hopefully not four months like with the stuffed pepper. Thank you for making trail food tasty.

Super easy to prep and tastes fantastic! Directions written clearly on packaging. Will definitely be purchasing again.

It was great, just like everything else I’ve had from On Point. I like that it’s a small company and there are real ingredients in their meals.
